General rules of maintenance and recommendations for furniture

  1. Mind that all the items are made of natural wood that is very sensitive to all changes of environment that’s why you should thoroughly follow the rules of furniture maintenance.
  2. Furniture should be used in dry and warm rooms with ventilation and heating systems. Recommended conditions:  temperature is from +10°C to 40°C, relative humidity is 65-85%.
    Unexpected temperature changes can cause serious damage on the furniture. If there is no possibility to make such conditions, ventilate rooms more often and use systems of normalizing humidity. Mind that during heating season level of humidity goes up a lot.
  3. Do not place furniture closer than 1 meter to the heating appliancesand other heat sources, direct sunlights as it caused furniture
  4. Do not use or keep furniture of natural wood in rooms where reparation is being done.
  5. Save furniture from mechanical damage, moisture, agressive materials, direct sunlights, fire. If furniture transportation was done under low temperature, immediately wipe it with clean dry and soft fabric from the inside and from the outside to move away condensation product.
  6. Surface of the wooden furniture should be saved from water. In order to wipe away food marks and liquids wet napkin should be used and then dry soft fabric.
  7. Wipe away the dust with dry and soft fabric (flannel, calico).
  8. While using furniture for sitting (chairs, stools,banquettes, benches) loading could be: for vertical direction up to 100 daN, for direction that does not coincide with vertical axis up to 30 daN. Static strength of armrests in horizontal (side) direction is 30 daN, in vertical direction is 70 daN.
    * Loading of 1 daN is approximate effect of the weight of 1 kg.
  9. Do not hit or run over furniture surface with heavy sharp objects.
 Recommendations for table maintenance:
  • do not cut groceries on the table itself to avoid cuttings and shears
  • use protection covering (soft glass, silicone, PVC film)
  • do not put on the surface hot (more 70 C) objects
  • to clean the table wipe it with dry or slightly wet fabric
  • it is prohibited to expose it to luquids
  • it is prohibited to wash it using chemical reagents with abrasive elements, acidity, alkalies or solvents
  • it is not recommended to expose it to sunlight for a long time in order colour shade stays the same
  • it is not recommended to put on the table more than maximum weight: 25 kg/m2 for tables with wooden tops, 20 kg/m2 for tables with glass tops.
